Kilkenny College has been awarded the Special Recognition Award from the Irish Heart Foundation.
All classes have completed CPR training this year. All teachers completed their CPR training in November 2019. In the past two weeks 30 members of staff have availed of the opportunity to do CPR training for the first time or to renew their CPR skills through completing the Irish Heart Foundation's CPR4Schools programme. Kilkenny College is one of just twenty schools in the country to have received this award.
It is great to have the school population trained in such an important life skill.
