Introduction
What are the qualities that set one school apart from all the others?
What are the most idistinctive features that make it stand out?
Facing one of the most important decisions that any parent has to make - the choice of secondary
school for your child - these are questions that you are bound to want answered.
Kilkenny College has a long tradition of providing an atmosphere where the intellectual, physical and spiritual potential of its pupils is allowed to develop.
We pride ourselves that our extensive range of subjects, sports and cultural opportunities allows pupils to develop a great diversity of talents within a caring environment, where the Christian virtues of honesty and tolerance are at the centre.
Above all, we want our pupils to be happy, confident and well-balanced in a community
where they will form friendships and learn to respect other people, whoever they are
and whatever their background.
As you will see from this prospectus, our facilities are perhaps the finest in the country and make an ideal setting for young people to spend their formative years.
