Louise Holmes has been picked as part of the Irish sprint squad, and has started training with them. She has also recently won an All Ireland gold medal for the under 19 at 60m sprint (indoors). She has also been listed in the top 20 indoor 200m female runners in Ireland, at all age groups including the senior women. |

The school had a couple of athletes who did well in the South Leinster and Leinster Cross-Country competitions. Nessa Cooper-Millet and Maeve Keane performed admirably well in both competitions. In April, KCK’s Minor and Junior Boys competed in a triangular sports between ourselves, Rockwell and Roscrea in Scanlon Park in Kilkenny. The Junior team won and the Minor team gained some valuable experience from the day.
